Hi Nick,

It is interesting to establish the connection in AT command?

Thanks

Olivier..

Rovoreed manufactured the 'internals' of the Speech Synthesiser. Follow this link to see details (here).

I am proposing that we use this as the 'model' for the bluetooth top slot adapter.

Peter advised me that he has sent you his (Rovoreed) Speech Synthesiser. I have asked Dave (forum member DELTA) to send me his; so that you and I are both considering the same.

(1) If you can make a circuit board to fit the case of the one you have there.
(2) I'll try and make a 3D model of the case to fit the circuit board I'll have here.

Sincerely Martin

In mode master, you need to start connection in AT command, If I understood correctly.
But forget this question, I thought you needed master mode.

I have check RN41 et 42, to big.

Thanks

I do need master mode.
Actually for me bluetooth communication between the organizer and the PC is not important.
This communication is just fine via a comms link.
All I am trying to do is wireless communication between Psion II and surveying instruments.
This will be a great convenience.
For me the use of Psion II is still a part of my job.
I still use it for work.
It is not just a hobby.
All bluetooth devices on surveying instruments working in "slave" mode. This is because all data collector's bluetooth work in "master" mode.
Anyway.
Go on.
It will be a great project even like that (slave mode).

Hello,

I have completed the diagram.
I ordered the parts.
Small change, the 18650 battery is too big so I used 14500 (AA).

Thank you

I looked for the case, I have an identical one with a paralink, the rear part no problem, it's simple. The front part I think the clip will be difficult to print.

I have a second 3D printer (Ultimaker S3, the prusa MK3S is broken, grr). Tomorrow, if I have time at the office, I will draw.

3d Printed USB Comms Link Top Slot Adaptor

Post by MartinReid »

The USB Comm Link Top Slot adaptor that Robert (schofiel) and I are printing doesn't have a 'clip'. I've tried it - it just holds in tight.

Nice work. It is not so bad that there is no clip.
If there is no cable it is not easy to be removed by accident.
