Re: Beep formula in manual is incorrect???

So I calculated A0 to G#6 a few weeks ago by entering the formula from manual into the solver on my TI-89 and running it for each interval. I lost the list stored in my PII when it crashed but luckily I still have the post-it's handy :D If I look for A4 (440hz) I can see that the TI-84 returned a va...

Re: New Owner/User from Australia

That's funny - I had asked him about it and was also going to offer $50 but he stopped replying and I decided to end it there as something seemed off. Glad it all worked out for you in the end! :)

Re: Slot Interface

My understanding is that there is no protection whatsoever - the top slot connector interfaces directly with the CPU data lines.

Re: Key handling/structure efficiency?

I have a NC100 too but it has a dead screen, I hope to get it fixed at some point, I bought it with 1 dead line, tried to fix it and made it worse :( there is a thin flex ribbon which sticks on the glass, it had come unbounded to I tried to heat bond it but ended up melting. Re: Key handling/structure efficiency?

@Jarryd that Devterm looks a bit like my Tandy Model 100, incidentally which is very nice to program in a portable setting and can send/receive Psion files perfectly over RS232 :) Yeah nice, I saw in one of the other threads that you were using this combo. I'm about to close a deal on an Amstrad No...

Re: Key handling/structure efficiency?

Thanks Martin, you are a gentleman and a scholar :) Addendum: I do however enjoy the pace of working directly on the II, i like it as a couch-coding device. Also as a new user I think that working directly on the II is the only way to really increase my speed and proficiency with the ABCDEF layout A...
