Re: OPL programming noob questions

Thanks for the answer @toml12953 It is structure and program flow aspects which I can’t seem to find a lot of info/examples to do a lot of what I want, without using GOTO, for example multiple choice GET/KEY/INPUT branches, which functions were you alluding to that can approximate GOSUB functionali...

Re: OPL programming noob questions

Can you elaborate on this point @toml12953 ? Also what advantages does gosub have over goto/label? GOSUB goes to an address then returns to the line after the gosub call. You can call it from anywhere in the program and it will work properly. With GOTO, it can only return to one place so you can't ...

Interested US/Canada users?

Is there anyone here from the USA or Canada? I have one XP and two LZ64s I'd like to see go to a good home. They all look and work fine but have no RAM or DATApaks or anything, just the filler plates and slide-on cases. The only cost is shipping which is why I'm limiting the offer so the shipping ch...

You can use functions to provide just about the same functionality as GOSUB.

Re: comms link..

Hi, I am looking for a Comms Link, I know "not easy to find" or in rip-off prices.. As I see there are some new projects around (USB comms and one Arduino based, but I think this is not a full comms solution), but no avail of them -with the exception of the Arduino one. thanks! If you're ...

Hmm... I'm not sure I understand – the source is in the GitHub repo! :-)
Oops! My bad. This is an awesome game. Thanks!

Re: 2048 Game for the Psion

We haven't seen any new games for the Organiser in a while, so I decided to port this little puzzle game from a few years ago . The port has been written in pure OPL, so it's a tad slow (it was unplayable until I made a few ugly hacks, turning the code into illegible spaghetti); also, the game woul...

It seems to be a fairly common size, this link has boxes of 20, which might be a large number of rolls for you: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/192822001716?hash=item2ce5164034:g:aqcAAOSw5k1cYV1- or a single, more expensive roll: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293417638921?hash=item44510ddc09:g:-nEAAOSw7rRe...

Paper for Psion Printer II

I've been trying to find a substitute for the thermal printer paper used by the Psion Printer II. The mfg. name is Jujo TF50 KS-C but that's no longer manufactured. Is there a good substitute I can use? The dimensions are Width: 112mm Diameter: 30mm.
