Re: Sorry - Off Topic - HamLog Morse Tutor!

Gary... Off topic but... Tell everyone about the HamLog Morse Tutor... It makes me smile every time I think of the messages it sends.. Always sincere Martin Martin kindly made a morse tutor to fit inside his Hamlog program. The message it sends out to learn is "There's life Jim but not as we k...

Re: MicroSD Card DataPak

Fantastic work here Andrew, my favourite tech, old meets new. The OLED display is used in the DMR Radio mmdvm devices and are nice and clear.
I've been using my Psion to log Ham radio contacts recently, using Martin's great Hamlog program he has recently programmed.
Much respect for your work here 👍

Re: OPL Challenge

Gary.. if you are reading this then I'm going to implement this 'FromLst$' function in HamLog. So the user can select their values from a given list. With this in mind I will be looking a heads up on which of the 'log' entries can be 'predicted' and what 'values' should be offered as a selection......

Re: HamLog FromLst:() function lists

Gary.. Yes choices can be added by the user and will be preserved as the 'default' until a new value is chosen. These choices are not automatically added to the file, but if they are 'popular' they can be added by the user in xfiles. I've created these three lists as a starting point but would appr...

Re: OPL Challenge

Hi Martin, Are choices required or could those values just be added by the user? For modes there are multitudes and if the user just input their own it would be easier examples SSB, FM, DV, DMR, PSK 31, RTTY, FT8, AM, FT8 CW Also similar for power, you could input anything from 100mw to 500 Watts. T...

Re: OPL Challenge

So considering the above, is it possible to make a selection which will stay in place until the next time you want to change. Typically you might operate on 2 Meters at 25W on FM for a number of contacts before you wish to change mode of operation to say 20 Meters at 50W on SSB. So everything might ...
